COVID-19 Alert Level 3 & 4

As you may be aware, New Zealand is now in Alert Level 3, and increasing to Alert Level 4 in 48 hours. At this level only essential services will be open. Veterinary services have been confirmed as essential so we will still be at the clinic ready to help you pets.

  • We want to take this time to assure you that urgent & emergency veterinary care will still be available. Your sick pets will always be treated and you will still be able to obtain medications and food.
  • We will still be available to dispense repeat medications, and have been advised by our suppliers that there is plenty of stock available in the country. We do not anticipate any supply issues.
  • There will be some changes to how we operate.
  • PLEASE CALL US BEFORE COMING TO THE CLINIC.
  • Our clinic will be staffed and our phone lines open during our normal operating hours.
  • We have implemented social distancing – in order to keep our staff safe (and the clinic running) clients will no longer enter our premises. Payments for products or services will be made at the door.
  • Please call or email ahead for any supplies needed for your pets. We can have this ready for you to pick up with good social distancing.
  • Clients will not be able to enter the clinic and will have to ring/signal from the car park on arrival. Vets will get a history car side and then take your pet in for examination/treatment.
  • The shared after-hours veterinary service will be operating as normal.
  • If you, or anybody in your household is affected by COVID-19, please DO NOT come to the clinic. Please telephone us to discuss options.
  • As we’re sure you can all appreciate, this is a time of change, and uncertainty. We will continue to do our best to provide great service, whilst keeping ourselves and our community safe.
  • As always, we are committed to being there for you and your pets. Contact us with any questions. The team at Victory Vets
